What We Fix

A cooktop looks simple from above and is anything but underneath: sealed gas burners with individual spark igniters, or induction zones each driven by its own power board and coil. When one burner or zone misbehaves, the fix is a targeted repair, not a new cooktop. We service gas, induction, and radiant-electric cooktops across the high-end field.

  • Sealed gas burners with weak, dead, or constant clicking ignition
  • Induction zones that are dead, cut out, or throw a fault
  • Radiant-electric elements and touch controls
  • Spark modules, spark switches, and igniter electrodes
  • Gas valves, orifices, and burner caps
  • Downdraft cooktop blowers and controls
  • Cracked glass replacement and touch-panel faults

Common Problems We See

  • Burner clicks but will not light. A fouled igniter, a crooked cap, or a weak spark.
  • All burners clicking constantly. Moisture shorting the spark switch.
  • One induction zone dead. A failed coil or power module on that zone.
  • Zone cuts out under load. Overheating power electronics or a cooling-fan fault.
  • Touch controls unresponsive. A failed control board or a cracked glass sensor.

Typical Causes

Gas cooktops fail at the igniter and the spark switch. Spillover works into the burner and fouls the spark, so it clicks without lighting, while moisture under the control shorts the switch and makes every burner click at once. Induction cooktops are electronic: each zone is a coil and an inverter board, and either can fail on its own, which is why a single dead zone rarely means the whole appliance is done. We test the affected zone or burner in isolation and replace the specific part, keeping the repair proportionate to the fault.

A dead zone is not a dead cooktop. Because each induction zone has its own module, we can restore a single failed zone without replacing the entire glass-top appliance.

Brands We Service

Cooktop Repair FAQ

One Induction Zone Stopped Working but the Others Are Fine. Why?
On an induction cooktop each zone has its own power module and coil, so a single dead zone usually means that zone's coil, its induction generator board, or the connection between them has failed. We test the affected zone in isolation and replace the specific module rather than the whole cooktop.
All My Gas Burners Keep Clicking Even After They Light. How Do I Stop It?
Continuous clicking after ignition is almost always moisture or spillover shorting the spark switch, so the control keeps firing the igniters. We dry and reseal the switch area, and replace a pitted spark switch when needed, so the burners light and then stop clicking.
Do You Repair Induction as Well as Gas Cooktops?
Yes. We service gas, induction, and radiant-electric cooktops, including sealed-burner and downdraft models, on high-end brands, with OEM igniters, spark switches, coils, and control parts.
